Life in Savannah has been a dream and I am loving every minute of it. Week one of college felt like it would never end, but this week has felt like it went by in a flash! Classes are long and whenever I’m not in class, I’m at my dorm working on homework and projects that I have been assigned. Although the work is tough (especially compared to my senior year of high school), I enjoy it, as it keeps me distracted from being far from home, and of course, it’s art. 🙂
I’m actually really proud of myself for how well I have been doing with my drawings and sketches in my art classes, because I’m more of a hands-on artist: ex. sewing, 3D art. All of the majors here at SCAD have to take their fundamental art classes and core classes! (Yes, even equestrian, photography, and writing majors.)
Hoping to go out this weekend to explore more and maybe I’ll have something more interesting to write about for next week. I’ve just been as busy as a bee lately! Pun definitely intended. (We’re the SCAD bees, if you didn’t know).
I’ll end this post on two good notes:
- One, heres a pretty picture that I took while walking back from class the other day:
2. There’s something big coming soon to Felicia Murray Designs, but I’m not going to tell you what it is 🙂
Follow my blog by email by scrolling to the bottom of the page if you would like to be notified every time that I make a new post! (Then you’ll be first to know about my upcoming designs).
I lied. 3 good notes.
3. I received my address (finally) for my dorm! I will love you forever if you send me mail to read when I’m bored and I will totally send you mail back!
